The second annual Bay Area Green Drive Expo will take place tomorrow at the Craneway Pavilion in Richmond, Calif. Green Drive Expo is the San Francisco Bay Area's first and largest consumer event for hybrid and electric vehicles, featuring test drives of some of the most highly anticipated green cars and guest speakers specializing in a range of topics from energy independence to hybrid battery repair.

In 2007, Brad did a three-part interview with keynote speaker Lisa Margonelli on the subject of oil dependence. Margonelli is the author of Oil on the Brain: Adventures from the Pump to the Pipeline, and one of the nation's leading experts on the subject.
Other speakers include CalCars founder Felix Kramer (a frequent PluginCars.com source and commenter); Ron DeLong, inventor of the gas mileage monitoring device, ScanGauge; Pat Cadam and Nicholas Rothman of GreenGears; Jason Smith, Bay Area manager of the EV Project; and Ron Hansen of Hybrid-Battery-Repair.com, who will do a live demonstration of a hybrid battery replacement.
Over in the test drive area, Green Drive Expo will host the North American debut of the 2012 Toyota Prius Plug-in. Guests will also get a chance to drive the Prius v and the new Toyota Camry hybrid, among others.
