Richmond leads the Bay Area in solar power wattage per capita

The huge 500-kilowatt solar installation at the Bay Area Beverages building, which you can see while driving west on 580 just before the Canal Boulevard exit, is quickly becoming a landmark. This solar installation, along with 52 others in Richmond, was one of the reasons that the Northern California Solar Energy Association recently gave the city an award for installing more solar watts per capita than any other large city in California.

Comedy at the Craneway: Every Saturday Night starting July 31

Comedy at Craneway: Hilarity at the Richmond Harbor

Weekly comedy showcase debuts July 31 at the BoilerHouse Restaurant

For more info visit www.ComedyAtCraneway.com

East Bay comedy lovers have a new East Bay option with the debut of the weekly “Comedy at Craneway,” hosted at the BoilerHouse Restaurant, 1414 Harbour Way South. Saturday nights in Richmond will resound with laughter as diverse comedians bring the noise! The venue is a perfect setting for emerging and established performers who’ve been featured on Comedy Central, HBO, BET, and late night network talk shows. This destination is likely to become a habit for people who like their comedy smart and clean.

Comedy at Craneway is the brainchild of Samson Koletkar and Dave Thomason. “Our goal is to bring different voices together. The lineups change weekly and feature comedians of diverse races, genders, ethnicities and perspectives,“ says Dave, who has performed at the SF Sketchfest and the Aspen Rooftop Comedy Festival.

“This is an opportunity to showcase the Bay Area’s rich comedic talent in Richmond,” says Samson, the world’s only Indian Jewish standup comedian. “I have performed in India, Canada and all across the US, at venues ranging from A-list clubs to dive bars. I am delighted to produce shows at the BoilerHouse, a fabulous venue for good food, great views, and now, hilarious comedy.”

Join us before the show for dinner and drinks at the BoilerHouse restaurant which serves fresh, fast, local delicious food on the waterfront as well as full bar service. The health-conscious menu features seasonal market specials as well as organic ingredients whenever possible. Enjoy Bay Area's best views of the San Francisco skyline at this historic harbor-side location, easily accessible from Oakland, Berkeley and all of the East Bay.

Starting July 31st, Comedy at Craneway will be presented every Saturday at 8 p.m. at the BoilerHouse Restaurant, 1414 Harbour Way South in Richmond. Admission is $15 ($12 with Student/Military ID). No drink minimums. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.ComedyAtCraneway.com.
