What is the Exotic Erotic Ball?
It's part Mardi Gras, part burlesque, and part rock concert, yet totally unique. The Exotic Erotic Ball is a fun-filled celebration of human sexuality and freedom of expression. It's a lingerie, fetish, masquerade affair.
It's been over 30 years since Louis Abolafia and I founded the Exotic Erotic Ball. Louis was best known for coining the phrase "Make Love, Not War", and we created the Ball as an extension of that philosophy.
I have thought of Louis often since he died in 1995, but never more so than last year, at our 30th Anniversary Show in October of 2009 at the Cow Palace. And what a show it was!
Now back to the present. Our 2010 Exotic Erotic Ball will be utterly spectacular - and for those who think I cannot top last year’s event, wait and see what it’s like to have a show like ours in a marina where the background is the majestic skylines of two cities. Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s not about “topping” the last show, it’s about “keeping it fresh”. So we’re going to announce a most special venue for 2010, including a luxury yacht for VIP’s, and the most intimate show we’ve had in many years. Many of our friends, celebrities, and adult film stars will partake, and there will be mingling opportunities like never before.
Make Love, Not War – remember when it was once was the battle cry of our entire youth culture? Well, it's never been a truer, more appropriate message than it is today. I miss Louis, and I can't wait to feel his spirit soar again over the very Bay where I sprinkled his ashes. Happy 31st Anniversary, buddy.

It features non-stop entertainment of limitless variety. Attendees will see and hear live music, top DJs, erotic performers, exotic dancers, and wild sideshows and partake in playful interactive fun. We have learned it is difficult to describe the scope of our live entertainment in one paragraph.
However, we can say that our Main Stage alone features several bands, many burlesque acts, hilarious games (Spin the Wheel of Depravity and Lesbian First Kiss among them), as well as our three major contests which will crown Ms Exotic Erotic, Mr. Exotic Erotic, and Best Costume; our other stages feature DJ's and electronic entertainment; fetish and bondage including fun with latex, body painting, and a little bit of flogging; and of course our famous dance and novelty acts. Our Exotic Erotic Expo features specially selected vendors who will showcase the latest in exotic fashion, erotic art, adult products, games, and novelties, and the fittingly offbeat. The Expo is open during the Ball, to Ball ticketholders only. (The Expo is also open on Friday October 22 from 4PM to Midnight and on Saturday afternoon October 23 from Noon to 6PM for only $20.)
